During our recent family vacation at La Fortezza Alta, we had the pleasure of experiencing a truly unique and enriching stay. As an art historian with a penchant for exploring Italian culture, the historical significance of the property immediately caught my attention. The welcoming atmosphere and inclusive activities made it a perfect choice for our family of five, including our 12-year-old, 10-year-old, and 1-year-old.One evening, the hotel organized a delightful farm tour for guests, where we had the opportunity to interact with the friendly animals on the property. Our children were overjoyed to pet the wandering pig, feed the chickens, and play with the adorable donkeys and dogs. It was a memorable experience that brought us closer to nature and each other.Another highlight for us was the access to the indoor pool house, which proved to be a lifesaver on rainy days. The facility was equipped with workout equipment, foosball, and ample space for family activities, providing us with a cozy retreat to bond and have fun together.
